In fact, this Bootcamp is the only residential documentary film making course on continental Europe - and it is partly financed from the proceeds of a film I made about the assassination of the world’s most famous person - Princess Diana...  All the proceeds from my film LADY DIE are being used to train people to make documentary films. That’s Why The Course is Such Great Value - It Is Basically FREE, Your Fee Helps Towards the Cost of Food & Accommodation. I Hope some of you may make films about subjects which were of interest to Princess Diana... The Media Fund is There to Help You Get Projects Off the Ground and Into Production. In due course, I intend to take the most promising and talented individuals who attend my courses and offer them jobs as associate producers and directors at The Enigma Channel & Enigma Motion Pictures. The accommodation is basic, but comfortable, and the emphasis is on getting you up and running as a documentary film maker as fast as possible. FEE: £590 INCLUDES: Breakfast, Lunch & BBQs at Night Airport pickup All Tuition Fees Accommodation You will be staying in a real French Gite B&B, or in a Mobile Home, or in a ‘Super Tent’. Don’t worry - the weather is very good and it is NOT like camping in the UK! Accommodation is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. it is likely that you’ll be asked to share a room with one of your fellow students. Single Girls and Boys will be independently accommodated. The accommodation is comfortable - but basic.  Airport Pick-up If you arrive at BEZIERS CAP d’AGDE airport (which has flights from Bristol & Luton (UK), Odense (Denmark), Paris & Dusseldorf, just call us and we shall pick you up. If you arrive at MONTPELIER or PERPIGNAN airports, please get a train to our local station - we’ll pick you up from there. A list of travel tips and a contact phone number will be given to you after we receive your payment.  Food Every day, you’ll get croissants and tea/coffee/juice for breakfast. Every lunchtime, there will be fresh french bread, cheeses and other lunchtime munchies. Your fee includes a great BBQ with tons of great wine each night. The local village has a daily market with fresh vegetables, oysters, a pizzaria and other take-aways. There are three really good local restaurants for evening meals - a night-time feast in a local restaurant will cost typically 15 - 20 euros per person, including wine. Great Patisseries too!  Flights The cost of your flight is NOT included in the fee - but everything else is. A flight from either the UK, Germany or Denmark to BEZIERS with RyanAir typically costs around 80 GB pounds. The local airport (which is called BEZIERS CAP d’AGDE), receives flights daily from Paris for international connections. Alternatively, BARCELONA airport is about 3.5 hours drive away - so maybe you could hire a car and drive to our studios. Another close-by option is PERPIGNAN airport, or GIRONA in the north of Spain, which are approximately 1.5hrs drive away. There are TRAINS at all these airports which will take you to our local train station - call us and we’ll pick you up. Extra Nights Accommodation is available the night before and the day after the course is over - so if it is not possible to book flights which coincide exactly with the first and last days of the course - don’t worry. You are welcome to stay for free the night before or the day after the course has finished. Local hotels are available for around 40 euros per person. Lectures on the first day commence at 2pm. If you arrive after this time, you will be asked to wait for someone to come and pick you up until the first lecture session is over. Our advice is to try and arrive the day before.
